Admissions

Admissions Process

​Eligibility---To enroll in our childcare program, children must meet the age requirements for their specific class.

 

Admissions Steps-- All enrollment forms must be filled out online. A link is sent to all parents to fill out. Parents must complete and submit an application for each child. Once all documents are completed you will be sent a first week fee and registration fee to be paid before your child starts care. ​

All enrollment forms must be submitted with a current copy of your child’s immunization records before your child begins care.

Tuition & Payment Policies

Registration & Fees:

  • A one-time, non-refundable registration fee is due upon application submission.

  • A yearly supply fee will be charged in every January to cover curriculum materials, art supplies, and other consumables.

 

Tuition Payment:

  • Tuition is billed weekly and is due by Friday at 5:30pm.

  • Payments received after Friday will incur a $35 late fee.

  • If tuition is more than 5 days late, your child will not be permitted to attend until the balance is paid in full.

  • If tuition is late more than three times in a calendar year, De Colores Child Development Center, reserves the right to terminate enrollment.

  • Tuition covers breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.

 

Attendance & Absences:

  • Tuition is required for all weeks your child is enrolled, regardless of attendance. No credits are provided for sick days, vacations, or other absences.

  • Families participating in a subsidy program (such as Texas Workforce Solutions) must adhere to the attendance policy guidelines. Parents are responsible for tuition during unauthorized absences and for covering any difference between the subsidy and the official tuition rate.

 

Discounts & Incentives:

  • While we do not offer sibling discounts, we offer bi-weekly and monthly discounts.

 

Withdrawals:

  • A 14-day written notice is required for all withdrawals. Tuition will continue to be billed if notice is not provided, and parents remain responsible for payment in full.
